Five of a Kind - This combination is available only if jokers are played. If two or more players have 5 of a kind, the one having the highest cards is the winner (e.g. 5 aces beat 5 kings).

Straight Flush - There are 5 cards in growing sequence (e.g. 7-8-9-10-jack) of the same suit. Ace may be either high or low card. Combinations: A-K-Q-J-10 and A-2-3-4-5 called straight flush. Remember, ace can not be in the middle.

Royal Flush - A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit.

Four of a Kind - 4 identical cards (4 kings or jacks ) If several palyers have 4 of a kind, the player with highest cards wins.

Full House - 3 cards of one rank, paired with 2 of another rank.

Flush - Any five cards of the same suit.

Straight - Any five cards in sequence Straight flush rules are applied. If two players have equal straights, money are split.

Three of a kind - 3 cards of identical rank that do not constitute pairs. High cards win.

Two Pair - Highest card wins.

Pair - The same rules.

High Card - If no one has a combination the highest card wins. If several players have aces the next highest card wins.

Texas Holdem Rules

In Texas Holdem, after players place required blinds or antes, all players receive two down cards, they remain hidden until the final showdown of hands. After the first two cards are dealt, a round of betting occurs. After that, three cards are turned over at the same time - this is called the flop. This is the community cards. Then a fourth community card is exposed, the turn card, followed by another betting round. Finally a last fifth community is dealt, and a last round of betting ensues.

After the completion of all betting comes the fenal showdown. Players make hands by using the best five-card combination of their two personal cards and the five community cards. A player may use one or both cards out of their hand, or use only the five community cards.

Cards Speak, which means no matter what a player says about the value of their Texas Holdem hand, the actual value is the best possible hand the combination of cards can make. Players should protect their own hands, but the casino dealer should read the proper value of what a player's hand is.

To win a pot you must show both your cards. Showing one but discarding the other will cause a player to lose the pot. A player must first declare they want to play the five community cards (play the board) before discarding their hole cards. If a player discards their hand before stating they want to play the board, they relinquish their claim to the pot.
